Alexander Angus
Alexander Angus is currently the Managing Director for Africa at Montgomery Group, a global b2b exhibition organiser headquartered in London. He is involved in working with the teams throughout Africa to encourage growth within the existing business, whilst also looking for new opportunities. Montgomery Group has been active in Africa for over 50 years and they have offices in South Africa, Lagos and Nairobi, as well as events throughout the continent.
Alexander joined Montgomery Group in 2012 as the Business Development Manager looking into new opportunities for the business. Within 2 years, he helped launch Propak West Africa, ElecraMining Botswana, a new exhibition business in Kenya, as well as working across the companies Libyan portfolio of events.
Following the launch of the Kenyan business, Alexander became the Portfolio Director of that business and launched various exhibitions throughout the market. From 2016 he moved to Kenya to help establish the business and look a new opportunities. In 2021 Alexander was made Managing Director for Africa and is now in charge of all of Montgomery Groups interests throughout Africa.
Alexander was a member and President of the Exhibition News 30under30 and currently sits on the Associations of Exhibition Organiser’s Development Board and a cross association Diversity and Inclusion Group.
