Daria Smith is a senior event professional with over 20 years of extensive international experience spanning continents and sectors. Beginning her events career in London, Daria is currently Show Director at dmg events based in Dubai, overseeing design and hospitality exhibitions in Saudi Arabia.
Daria has held various commercial and leadership roles at leading event organisers, including Informa, Hyve Group, and dmg events, and has managed a diverse portfolio of international B2B exhibitions and conferences.
Daria sits on the AEO Development Board, actively contributing to advancing the exhibitions and events sector. As a founding member of Women in Exhibitions, she is deeply engaged in fostering diversity and inclusion within the industry. Furthermore, Daria is dedicated to mentoring and empowering the next generation of event leaders through her involvement in the Elevate Mentoring programme.
